Data Stream Showcases Expertise at Climb24 in Leeds

The Event

Data Stream UK had the privilege of exhibiting and speaking at Climb24 in Leeds, an event that has quickly become a cornerstone of innovation and technology in the UK. Climb was created with a mission to transform the world of innovation, providing a unique platform where founders, industry leaders, innovators, and investors converge to shape the future of technology and drive global impact.

After the remarkable success of its inaugural event, Climb23, which saw over 1500 delegates, more than 220 speakers, and 150 active investors take over Leeds Dock for a two-day festival, Climb24 promised to be bigger, better, and bolder. The anticipation surrounding Climb24 was palpable, and Data Stream UK was excited to be a part of the UK’s only festival dedicated to innovation, investment, and collaboration.

Why Did we Attend?

Our decision to exhibit and attend Climb24 was driven by several factors. As a leading data and AI agency, Data Stream UK is always looking for opportunities to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and industry trends. Climb24 offered the perfect environment to achieve this. The event promised insightful talks, workshops, and masterclasses, along with unparalleled networking opportunities with investors, customers, and potential partners. We were keen to leverage the Climb app to arrange meetings with key players who could help propel our business forward.

Our Experience

From the moment we set up our exhibit at Leeds Dock, the energy and excitement were infectious. We had the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of attendees, including fellow exhibitors, industry leaders, and potential clients. The conversations we had were incredibly enriching, allowing us to share our expertise in machine learning and data analytics while learning about the innovative work being done by others in the tech ecosystem.

One of the highlights of our participation was the opportunity for our Managing Director, Elliot Fearn, to speak at the “Investing in AI Startups” panel discussion. This panel was a focal point of the event, attracting a large audience eager to hear from leading entrepreneurs and investors in the AI space. Elliot’s insights on the current landscape of AI startups, the challenges they face, and the opportunities for investment were well-received. He emphasised the importance of fostering a supportive ecosystem for AI startups, highlighting how Data Stream UK has been at the forefront of helping businesses leverage AI to drive growth and innovation.

Elliot’s participation in the panel discussion also provided a platform to showcase the cutting-edge work that Data Stream UK is doing. By sharing our success stories and the tangible impacts we have made for our clients, we were able to increase brand awareness and establish Data Stream UK as a thought leader in the AI industry.

Our Technology Partner

Our participation at Climb24 was further enhanced by the invaluable support from our key strategic technology partner, Keboola. Keboola, known for providing self-service data platforms that enable automated data flows for customers, played a crucial role in our success at the event.

They expressed to our audience how they support Data Stream UK as their key delivery partner for the North of the UK, highlighting the seamless integration of their robust data platforms with our innovative AI solutions. This partnership not only bolsters our capabilities but also ensures that our clients benefit from cutting-edge technology that drives efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The endorsement from Keboola added significant credibility to our offerings, reinforcing our position as a leader in the data and AI space.

Pitching Competition

In addition to the panel discussion, Elliot also entered a pitching competition hosted by Zendesk. This competition was another exciting aspect of Climb24, offering startups and businesses the chance to present their innovative ideas to a panel of judges and a broader audience. Elliot’s pitch highlighted some of the groundbreaking projects we have undertaken at Data Stream UK, focusing on our unique approach to solving complex business problems through data and AI. The competition was fierce, with many impressive pitches, but it provided an excellent opportunity for us to further raise our profile and attract interest from potential investors and partners.

Reflection

Throughout the event, the interactions we had were invaluable. We met with several potential clients who were interested in how machine learning could transform their operations. We also connected with investors who were eager to learn more about our vision and the impact we are making in the AI space. These conversations not only helped us to build new relationships but also reinforced the value of the work we are doing at Data Stream UK.

As the event drew to a close, we reflected on the incredible experience we had at Climb24. It was a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about Data Stream UK and the transformative work we do for our clients. We left the event with a sense of achievement and excitement for the future, having made meaningful connections and gained valuable insights that will drive our continued growth and innovation.

In conclusion, exhibiting and speaking at Climb24 was a significant milestone for Data Stream UK. It provided a platform to showcase our expertise, engage with key stakeholders, and reinforce our position as a leader in the AI and data analytics industry.
